The removal process was carried out in batch tests, over a period from one to five hours, using a prepared solution with a concentration of 15 ppm of dye and 250 ppm of chromium. Finding that the modified zeolite had a removal efficiency of 95% methylene blue, while the natural form has an efficiency of 90%; about chromium, ZN had a maximum adsorption of 20.47% by mass and ZT 19.72% by mass. We concluded that the chabazite from Divisaderos, Sonora can be used to treat mixtures of methylene-blue-chromium in water. Se uso una zeolita tipo chabazita en su forma natural e intercambiada con KOH para remover azul de metileno-cromo en agua. Para el análisis de los materiales se usaron las técnicas de MEB-EDX, IRF, UV-Vis. El proceso de remoción se realizó en pruebas batch, en un periodo de 1 a 5 h, utilizando una solución preparada a una concentración de 15 ppm de azul de metileno y 250 ppm de cromo. Encontrándose que la zeolita modificada tuvo una eficiencia de remoción del 95% del AM, mientras que la forma natural presentó una eficiencia de 90%; en cuanto al Cr, la ZN presentó un máximo de adsorción de 20.47% en masa y la ZT de 19.72% en masa. Se concluye que la chabazita del yacimiento de Divisaderos, Sonora, tiene potencial para usarse en el tratamiento de mezclas acuosas contaminadas con azul de metileno-cromo.
