总结:The main pollinators of the wild flora are stingless bees and nest products such as collected pollen, propolis and mainly honey; they have been used in the daily diet and even better in traditional medicine. Using keywords such as: antimicrobial, antioxidant, antibacterial and anticancer activity, a bibliographic search was carried out in books and research articles from the scientific search engines PubMed, World Wide Science, Google Scholar and Springer Link to describe general aspects and examples of the benefits in the health of honey. In vitro and in vivo studies have shown a positive relationship between the physicochemical characteristics and the phytochemical composition of honey with the beneficial effect in the treatment of mild conditions such as wound healing, even complex inflammation processes, oxidative stress, or microbial infections. Thus, stingless bee honey represents a product with therapeutic potential.
