总结:The efforts made by MSMEs in the northwest of México when designing and attempting to apply innovation strategies may present certain obstacles that must be overcome. In this sense, the aim is to explain how strategic behavior and obstacles to innovation are related in the MSMEs of the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, and Sinaloa. From a first Exploratory Factor Analysis, the following results were obtained from a sample of 81 companies surveyed by availability. A scenario of strategy implementation and two types of obstacles to achieve innovation is presented: the first of these obstacles to innovation reflects the problems faced by companies internally. In the second classification, it shows obstacles that are not controllable by the companies, in other words, extrinsic drawbacks. In the second Confirmatory Factor Analysis, it is possible to observe the relationship between the obstacles to innovation. However, it is not possible to determine whether these intrinsic or extrinsic obstacles influence the design and implementation of innovation strategies in the companies studied.
