總結:Today chelating agents have received special attention, notably hydroxamic acids, which have shown superior performance without the health, safety and environmental concerns associated with xanthates. In this study, the chemical adsorption of two hydroxamates (BHA and OHA) on the surface of anglesite was evaluated and compared by infrared spectroscopy and zeta potential measurements. Likewise, microflotation measurements were made to evaluate and compare their response to flotation. Finally, the mechanisms of interaction between anglesite with hydroxamate anions in aqueous solution were proposed, which present global reactions and help to understand the way in which both collectors react. In general, microflotation tests showed higher recoveries of anglesite using AOH. It is suggested that benzohydroxamate and octanohydroxamate anions are chemically adsorbed on anglesite under most of the conditions studied, except on anglesite conditioned to pH 5, where they are physysorbed.
