Samenvatting: | Generally, basic statistic courses at undergraduate level suppose that students have certain mathematical background that will facilitate use and comprehension of diverse statistical tools. When making inferences for certain parameter, the information in a sample will allow, throughout certain estimator, to obtain inferences on the parameter of interest. These estimators are random variables and have associated a sampling distribution to which we can be close by means of simulations tools; these play an essential role because through them, students can learn about different sampling distributions making easy to link them with some inferential aspects from the computational results. The mathematical tools needed to understand some sampling distributions in a basic statistics course and the development of an app that could be helpful in these courses, are the main reasons of developing the material here presented. |
