It also adheres to the National and International Conventions on Copyright signed by the World Intellectual Property Organization, to which Mexico belongs. El Código de Ética de Biolex Revista Jurídica del Departamento de Derecho se finca en los valores instituidos por la legislación que rige a la Universidad de Sonora,1donde se distinguen por su preponderancia, valores como la honestidad, el respeto y tolerancia, responsabilidad social, ética, responsabilidad, solidaridad, justicia, autonomía, equidad, compromiso con la naturaleza, libertad de cátedra e investigación, que enmarcan el quehacer y la responsabilidad académica y científica de los colaboradores de Biolex. También se adhiere a las Convenciones Nacionales e Internacionales en materia de Derechos de Autor suscritas por la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual,2 a la que pertenece México.
