Crynodeb:Abstract The objective of this article is to analyze the changes via labor reforms in Mexico that warn that the labor world is framed as a social and political issue. In addition, it is proposed that legal changes in labor matters could guarantee a new scheme of labor justice and reduce inequality gaps. Likewise, union reactivation allows the recovery of socialization spaces lost under neoliberalism. To this end, the essence of the labor reform and the changes to the Federal Labor Law linked to the trade negotiations within the USMCA, especially Chapter 23 and Annex 23, are described. However, clear supervision and control mechanisms must be established for elements that are still present, such as informality, the recognition of atypical work, outsourcing, high rotation in the manufacturing sector and, within the political power relations, the risk of creating a neo-corporatism.
