The latter apparently has a method of understanding the world whose discourses create imperatives and meanings that benefit it, and for this purpose business discourse has been incorporated into the agenda of skill-based educational programs, which end up ignoring the importance of traditional institutions and intellectual legacies like the humanistic knowledge. It is necessary to remember that the Humanities had a preponderant place in the history of the modern era, and that we must act so that they continue to be present in the reorganization of the methods of understanding reality. El objetivo principal del presente artículo es dar cuenta de ideas específicas sobre el lugar que ocupan las Humanidades en el contexto de la globalización, y cómo éstas han luchado por mantener, durante lo que va del siglo XXI, un espacio y un prestigio que hoy parece verse cuestionado por la lógica operativa del corporativismo a nivel mundial. Este último al parecer tiene un método de entendimiento del mundo cuyos discursos crean imperativos y significados que lo benefician, y para ello se ha incorporado el discurso empresarial en la agenda de los programas educativos por competencias, que terminan ignorando la importancia de instituciones tradicionales y legados intelectuales como el conocimiento humanístico. Es necesario recordar que las Humanidades tuvieron un lugar preponderante en la historia de la era moderna, y que debemos de actuar para que continúen presentes en la reorganización de los métodos de entendimiento de la realidad.
