The research responds to a descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental study with a quantitative approach. Coach attitudes in team sports confirmed by both coaches and players include the following traits: he is disciplined and persevering; it is an example of wellness and healthy life; winning attitude; take care of the mental health of my players; push my players to the limit; uses optimistic phrases to motivate; conducts emotional talks; set realistic goals and forecasts; he performs visualization exercises to train his players mentally; communicates clearly and directly, but without offending my players; is empathetic with the needs of the players; focuses on what is happening in the game and works collaboratively. El estudio tiene el propósito de describir actitudes del entrenador deportivo a partir de las creencias de los jugadores y entrenadores de los equipos representativos de la Universidad de Sonora. La investigación responde a un estudio descriptivo transversal, no experimental con enfoque cuantitativo. Las actitudes del entrenador en los deportes de conjunto que confirmaron tanto entrenadores como jugadores incluyen los siguientes rasgos: es disciplinado y perseverante; es un ejemplo de bienestar y vida saludable; actitud ganadora; cuida la salud mental de mis jugadores; presiona hasta el límite a mis jugadores; utiliza frases optimistas para motivar; realiza charlas emotivas; establece metas y pronósticos realistas; realiza ejercicios de visualización para que sus jugadores entrenen mentalmente; se comunica de manera clara y directa, pero sin ofender a mis jugadores; es empático con las necesidades de los jugadores; se enfoca en lo que ocurre en el juego y trabaja colaborativamente.
