This research work was carried out under a descriptive-correlational methodological approach and was applied to a simple random sample of 50 entrepreneurs located in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora, belonging to the retail trade sector, with a workforce between 10 and 250 workers. with a minimum antiquity of three years in the market and who were in confinement caused by the pandemic generated by COVID-19 during the three months from March 20 to June 20, 2020, and subsequently implemented a physical exercises program, for a period of 6 months after confinement. The objective is to determine, from the perspective of entrepreneurs, how physical activity influences the reduction of work stress. The main results show that the diagnosis carried out showed the impact that work stress has on entrepreneurs in Hermosillo, Sonora, and the need to perform physical exercises during work activity, to reduce stress levels. As a final conclusion, performing physical exercises during work activity can help improve the psychological health of the entrepreneur in such a way that it could reduce stress and be reflected in their work performance. Este trabajo de investigación se realizó bajo un enfoque metodológico descriptivo-correlacional y se aplicó a una muestra aleatoria simple de 50 emprendedores ubicados en la ciudad de Hermosillo, Sonora, pertenecientes al sector comercio minorista, con una fuerza laboral entre 10 y 250 trabajadores con una antigüedad mínima de tres años en el mercado y que estuvieron en confinamiento causado por la pandemia generada por COVID-19 durante los tres meses comprendidos del 20 de marzo a 20 de junio del 2020, y posteriormente implementaron un programa de actividad física, durante un período de 6 meses posteriores al término del confinamiento. El objetivo es determinar, desde la perspectiva de los emprendedores, cómo la actividad física influye en la reducción del estrés laboral. Los principales resultados muestran que el diagnóstico realizado mostró el impacto que tiene el estrés laboral en los emprendedores de Hermosillo, Sonora, y la necesidad de realizar ejercicios físicos durante la actividad laboral, para reducir los niveles de estrés. Como conclusión final, la realización de ejercicios físicos durante la actividad laboral puede ayudar a mejorar la salud psicológica del emprendedor de tal forma que podría reducir el estrés y reflejarse en su desempeño laboral.
