The sample was made of 258 advanced grade students of all the careers offered by the Instituto Tecnológico de Tepic. A general acceptation of the tool was noted, the mode and time of application were especially liked; it is identified that the students consider the questions of the instrument clear and understandable; however, from their perspective, these do not help to fully recognize the quality of teaching performance.  El presente estudio se realizó con el objetivo de describir la opinión de los estudiantes de nivel superior sobre el instrumento de evaluación docente; en relación a su diseño, modalidad y momento de la aplicación. La muestra estuvo conformada por 258 estudiantes de grado avanzado de todas las carreras a nivel licenciatura que oferta el Instituto Tecnológico de Tepic.
