Therefore, the objective of this article is to present an analytical review of the literature in relation to the businesses of immigrant entrepreneurs known as ethnic businesses, detecting the investigations at the international, national, and local levels. To achieve this and to show a general and specific overview of this type of business, 51 investigations on ethnic businesses were consulted using the systematic review method. Los negocios establecidos por empresarios inmigrantes extranjeros generan actividades económicas en los lugares donde deciden residir, este tipo de establecimientos son cada vez más predominantes en México. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de este artículo es presentar una revisión analítica de la literatura con relación a los negocios de empresarios inmigrantes conocidos como negocios étnicos, detectando las investigaciones que hay en torno a ello a nivel internacional, nacional y local. Para lograrlo y con la finalidad de mostrar un panorama general y específico sobre este tipo de comercios se consultaron 51 investigaciones sobre negocios étnicos mediante el método revisión sistemática.
