This research, due to its design, is of a descriptive-correlational type, and its objective is to carry out, based on the opinion of SME businessmen from Hermosillo, Sonora, a diagnosis to determine the degree of application of digital trends in the administrative management of your businesses. The results obtained show that despite the fact that the SME entrepreneur is aware of the benefit of using digital trends, he only makes use of social networks as a digital tool, and sporadically of others such as: eCommerce, digital marketing or electronic payments. In conclusion, the SME entrepreneur is aware that the use of digital tools could allow business management aimed at the development of their businesses, but their greatest challenge or barrier in their use is ignorance about the subject and lack of budget for its implementation. Esta investigación, por su diseño es de tipo descriptivo-correlacional, y tiene como objetivo realizar, con base en la opinión de empresarios pymes de Hermosillo, Sonora, un diagnóstico para determinar el grado de aplicación de las tendencias digitales en la gestión administrativa de sus empresas. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que a pesar de que el empresario pyme es consciente del beneficio de utilizar las tendencias digitales, solo hace uso de las redes sociales como herramienta digital, y esporádicamente de otras como: eCommerce, marketing digital o los pagos electrónicos. En conclusión, el empresario pyme es consciente de que el uso de herramientas digitales podría permitir una gestión empresarial encaminada al desarrollo de sus negocios, pero su mayor reto o barrera en su uso es el desconocimiento sobre el tema y la falta de presupuesto para su implementación.
