A comparison of the results between newly admitted students 2018-2021 and 2022 was made among the most significant results: study conditions such as lighting, space are not adequate, class preparation, study times are deficient due to the lack of need to work.     La contingencia provocada por la pandemia de COVID-19 generó una situación inédita en México y en el mundo, con el cierre de los centros educativos, se  implementó la  educación a distancia  en donde los docentes  y alumnos se han enfrentado a diversos retos al impartir y recibir  clases en línea esto genero un giro a su práctica educativa de aquí  surge de necesidad de realizar un diagnóstico  de los hábitos  y motivación del estudio y con ello determinar el  impacto que la pandémica COVID 19 causo en los alumnos de Ingeniería Industrial  del Instituto Tecnológico de Huatabampo, se utilizó la encuesta de hábitos de estudio  la cual  califica: la  organización del estudio,  las técnicas de estudio  y la motivación para el estudio.  Se realizó una comparación de los resultados entre estudiantes  de nuevo ingreso 2018-2021 y 2022  entre los resultados  más significativos: las condiciones de estudio como la iluminación, espacio no son las adecuadas, la preparación de clases los tiempos de estudio son deficientes debidos a la necesidad de trabajar.
