According mentioned and based on its growth and planned demand for the next 5 years, a proposal is prepared in order to meet that objective. The installed capacity could supply 67,410 pieces annually when sales of more than 158,760 pieces were forecast. The comparative analysis carried out between two alternatives related to the acquisition of new machinery or hiring of operators to increase the workforce, to the production area. El proyecto se enfoca en el análisis de la capacidad de producción en una empresa productora de cacahuate salado botanero la cual actualmente realiza sus actividades de forma no industrializada omitiendo la estandarización adecuada, por lo que se ve afectada respecto a la demanda o los objetivos proyectados en el mercado local. Con lo antes mencionado y en base a su crecimiento y demanda planeada para los próximos 5 años, se elabora una propuesta con la finalidad de cumplir ese objetivo. La capacidad instalada podía abastecer 67,410 piezas anualmente cuando se pronosticaba venta superior a 158,760 piezas. Se presenta el análisis comparativo realizado entre dos alternativas relacionadas con la adquisición de nueva maquinaria o contratación de operarios para el incremento de mano de obra, al área de producción.
