总结:We present a qualitative research that was carry out with the objective of knowing the use of institutional resources related to digital bibliographic sources in a public university. In this study, 59 professors participated and it took placed in the five locations of a public university in Sonora during the months of January to June 2017. In order to collect the information, focus groups were held with professors and the results of the institutional indicators were analyzed with respect to the use of digital resources such as databases. The analysis is oriented from an institutional and cultural perspective using some concepts of recent work on digital literacy and theoretical concepts of Pierre Bourdieu and Cornelius Castoriadis. Cultural and ideological aspects were considered to cover the demands of accrediting organisms and other institutions that regulate academic practices in Mexican universities and the real use of the digital resources by professors, who not only teach different academic contents, but also design curricular programs offered that directly affect the use of these resources also in their students. The results show that in spite of the generalized digital media in the social and educational context, its use is still incipient, mainly due to the lack of strategies and management by the teachers and other academic authorities.
