Shrnutí:This research carries out an analysis of aspects that measures the impact of bird tourism in the Sonora, Arizona, and New Mexico region, through the experiences of those who practice bird watching and those who offer bird tourism services in those states. A methodology was designed with which it was possible to know the general panorama of the region, the identification of integration actions through the observation of birds in Sonora, Arizona and New Mexico and it was possible to detect the areas of opportunity of the Sonoran state, particularly in the municipality of Álamos and surrounding towns, for the development of this practice through the American bird tourism model.
